Stream Team # 1 Restoring Habitat
Roubidoux Fly Fishers Association was the first Stream Team in Missouri. We are proud to be Steam Team # 1. There are currently over 5000 steam teams in our state.
The lower Roubidoux creek is our project stream. Members also help maintain area streams by volunteering their time with other Missouri stream teams. Water quality testing is conducted on the Roubidoux Creek and Spring creek in an effort to monitor the stream condition.
RFFA Fly Fishers are committed to helping maintain and restoring aquatic habitat in local streams and waterways.
Project Healing Waters
Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Inc. is a program that is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and veterans through fly fishing and fly tying education and outings. The Roubidoux Fly Fishers Association was proud to be associated with this great project.
Service
We like to help as many youth and service programs as we can. We make presentations about fly fishing , fly tying, water quality and conservation of natural and free flowing streams.
We also volunteer to help our Missouri Department of Conservation with environment improvement projects.
Water Quality Testing
We are committed to water quality monitoring of our home water, the Roubidoux Creek and we also do water quality monitoring on Spring Creek.
